RedPlanet is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using the RedPlanet platform — including the ARIA chat assistant, the waitlist, and any interactive features — you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We collect the following categories of information:
Waitlist Email Addresses
When you join the RedPlanet waitlist, we collect your email address and, optionally, your name. This information is used solely to communicate platform updates and early access invitations. Your IP address is also recorded at the point of submission for fraud prevention purposes and is retained for 90 days.
ARIA Chat Conversations
The ARIA chat widget allows you to ask questions about RedPlanet. When you interact with ARIA, the text of your messages and ARIA's responses are transmitted to our server and processed by a large language model (LLM) to generate replies. We do not store the full conversation history on our servers after a session ends. Individual messages are held temporarily in your browser's session memory and are discarded when you close or refresh the page.
ARIA Feedback Ratings
If you choose to rate an ARIA response using the thumbs-up or thumbs-down buttons, we record the following data: your rating (up or down), the text of the message you sent, the text of ARIA's reply, the index of the message within the conversation, and an anonymous session identifier generated in your browser. This session identifier is a random string stored in your browser's session storage; it does not identify you personally and is discarded when your browser tab is closed. Feedback data is stored in our database and used solely to improve ARIA's responses.
Analytics Data
We collect anonymised usage data (page views, session duration, geographic region) to understand how visitors interact with the platform. This data does not identify you personally.
Technical Data
Standard server logs may capture IP addresses, browser type, and referring URLs for security and performance monitoring purposes. These logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days.
We use the information we collect to operate and improve the RedPlanet platform; to send you communications you have opted into (such as waitlist updates); to process and respond to ARIA chat queries; to analyse ARIA feedback ratings in order to improve the quality and accuracy of ARIA's responses; to monitor platform security and performance; and to understand aggregate usage patterns. We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
ARIA is powered by a large language model. When you send a message to ARIA, the content of your message — along with the prior conversation context within that session — is transmitted to an AI inference service to generate a response. You should not share sensitive personal information, passwords, financial details, or confidential data in the ARIA chat. RedPlanet is not responsible for the accuracy of AI-generated responses; ARIA's replies are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and do not constitute professional advice of any kind.
Waitlist email addresses are retained until you request removal or the waitlist programme concludes. ARIA feedback ratings (including the associated message text and anonymous session identifier) are retained for as long as they are needed to improve ARIA and may be deleted upon request. Anonymised analytics data may be retained indefinitely in aggregate form. Server log data is deleted after 90 days.
RedPlanet uses session cookies necessary for platform functionality, such as maintaining login state. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.
In addition to cookies, the ARIA chat widget uses your browser's session storage to hold an anonymous session identifier. This identifier is a randomly generated string used only to associate feedback ratings submitted within the same browser session. It is not a cookie, is not transmitted to third parties, and is automatically deleted when you close the browser tab.
RedPlanet is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify waitlist subscribers of material changes by email. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

We use essential session cookies for platform functionality and anonymised analytics to understand how visitors use the site.
