RedPlanet is an entertainment, news, and world-building project set within the fictional universe of RedPlanet — the first colonized Martian virtual reality city. While RedPlanet incorporates real-world space industry news sourced from public feeds, the RedPlanet setting, its characters, factions, and events are entirely fictional and created for entertainment and educational purposes.
By accessing or using the RedPlanet website, joining the waitlist, interacting with the ARIA chat assistant, or engaging with any RedPlanet content, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
ARIA (Automated Resident Intelligence Assistant) is an AI-powered chat interface available on the RedPlanet platform. ARIA is designed to answer questions about the RedPlanet universe, its sectors, characters, and lore. By using ARIA, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
AI-Generated Responses
ARIA's responses are generated by a large language model and are provided for informational and entertainment purposes only. They do not constitute professional, legal, financial, medical, or any other form of regulated advice. RedPlanet makes no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of ARIA's responses.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use ARIA to generate harmful, abusive, defamatory, or illegal content; to attempt to extract sensitive information about the platform's systems or other users; to deliberately mislead or manipulate the AI; or to submit content that violates any applicable law or third-party rights. RedPlanet reserves the right to restrict access to ARIA for any user who violates these terms.
No Sensitive Information
You should not share passwords, financial details, government identification numbers, health information, or any other sensitive personal data in the ARIA chat. RedPlanet is not responsible for any consequences arising from your choice to share such information.
Feedback Ratings
You may optionally rate ARIA's responses using the thumbs-up or thumbs-down mechanism. By submitting a rating, you consent to RedPlanet storing the rating, the associated message text, and an anonymous session identifier as described in our Privacy Policy. This data is used solely to improve ARIA's performance.
By joining the RedPlanet waitlist, you provide your email address voluntarily. We use this information solely to notify you of platform updates, early access opportunities, and RedPlanet announcements. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes. You may unsubscribe at any time by contacting us.
All RedPlanet original content — including but not limited to the RedPlanet world, sector names, character concepts, visual design, written copy, and the ARIA persona — is the exclusive intellectual property of RedPlanet and its creators. Unauthorised reproduction, distribution, or derivative use of this content without written permission is prohibited. Real-world news content remains the property of its respective publishers and is used under fair use principles for informational purposes.
The RedPlanet platform — including the ARIA chat assistant — is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, the accuracy of third-party news content, the accuracy of AI-generated responses, or the fitness of the platform for any particular purpose. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RedPlanet and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including reliance on any content presented herein or on any response generated by the ARIA chat assistant.
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which RedPlanet is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.
